Long After Tonight is All Over (for solo flute) is a short piece which predominantly explores the lowest register of the instrument and often on the soft threshold between sound and silence. The title is borrowed from the Northern Soul classic of Jimmy Radcliffe which was one of the final records played in the now legendary Wigan Casino; my piece might be viewed as a 'nocturnal' for solo flute. This music was composed in 2013 for flautist Jenni Cohen, who gave the first performance.
